New owners of the three roofs café, Carl and Lee, recently moved from London to follow a lifetime dream of living in the country and embrace a lifestyle change. Initially the decision was difficult due to having to change jobs, leave friends and loved ones and the big move up north. However, once they arrived in Castleton, they instantly fell in love with the village, the beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous little café in a bustling part of the village which made their decision simple to make.

The look of the café is that of a traditional tea room that creates a homely atmosphere. Carl & Lee officially took over the cafe on Monday 17th October 2011 and since then they have strived to create high quality dishes using fresh local produce.
All the menus have recently been reviewed and additional daily specials include a variety of homemade pies, locally produced sausages served with mashed potatoes, vegetarian chilli’s and freshly battered haddock, chips and mushy peas. There is also a delightful range of desserts, cakes, cheese scones and clotted cream teas to compliment and satisfy your meal.
