Built in 1796 Larpool Hall is a fine Country House with splendid views over the Esk Valley and towards the sea at Whitby about 1 miles away. During your stay you can relax in our elegant lounges enjoy a drink at our bar or take a stroll around our attractive gardens. This is an ideal location from which to explore Whitby and the North York Moors National Park. Whitby Abbey Robin Hood s Bay and the North York Moors Railway are all within easy reach. There are excellent coastal walks nearby while cyclists will love the Whitby to Scarborough cycle trail which runs past the end of our garden. If you are exploring on foot or by bike we have a well equipped boot and drying room and an excellent selection of maps guidebooks and walk directions which guests can borrow Communal dining at fixed dinner times.
