Steve and Nicky Wragg and their staff look forward to welcoming you to The Green Dragon. 2016 brings the advent of 4 brand new en-suite letting rooms all on ground level and including a wheelchair accessible room and a spacious family room. There is a fifth bedroom above the pub which consists of a lounge bedroom and bathroom. (no shower) This room is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
The Green Dragon is situated in the heart of rural Wiltshire in a small village at the foot of Salisbury Plain. Though technically out in the sticks we re only ever a short car or bus ride from a wealth of interesting landmarks sights and memorable experiences. We re about 30 minutes away from the Cathedral City of Salisbury a similar distance from historic Bath with its wealth of architectural history as well as Stonehenge and Avebury. The market towns of Devizes (5 miles) Marlborough Hungerford and Chippenham are all a short scenic ride away and you re never far from somewhere to sit and enjoy a picnic. In fact we can even offer a packed-lunch service from the pub on request.
Our traditional pub features log fires in winter and lots of friendly locals to get to know. There is a spacious function room/skittle alley available for functions and meetings plus a spacious car park.
