The perfect base for exploring Dorset Wiltshire and Hampshire as we are located in Cranborne village centre on the boundary of these historic counties. The village is set in the heart of Cranborne Chase on the edge of the New Forest a short drive to the beautiful Jurassic Coast Bournemouth s sandy beaches Salisbury many gardens historic places and properties. Great for cycling and walking with its Jubilee trail right on our doorstep.



Our food is traditional English with a dash of international. Old time favourites from the past as well as a few international flavours are featuring on our menu. Please note that we are a husband and wife team with a relaxed peaceful and comfortable Restaurant with Rooms (6 bedrooms) offering delicious cooked to order British food made with local fresh and seasonal produce.



We cook on request every night except Sunday evening to our Houseguests and their guests (subject to availability). Please if possible let us know in advance (before arrival) if you wish to dine with us.



Payment / Credit Cards: On the day of your departure at La Fosse when we present you the final bill we accept cash cheques and debit cards. Credit Card payments we charge 3% handling charge on top of the total bill.



Please note that IF YOU BOOKED ROOM ONLY BASIS please BOOK BREAKFAST THE NIGHT BEFORE with us should you wish to have breakfast in our restaurant in the morning at ?12.50 per person (this includes Full English and buffet)
