Nestled in the beautiful village of Hurstbourne Tarrant The George and Dragon has been a coaching inn since the 16th century. With flagstone flooring original wood beams a large oak bar and roaring wood burners the pub provides a warm and cosy ambience for relaxing over a pint or two during the cooler months and has patio areas outside for the sunnier evenings. Offering breakfast lunch and dinner every day you are sure of a warm welcome good ales and great food at this local inn.
When we bought the pub upstairs was an empty shell and after a lengthy renovation we are now proud to offer 8 beautiful double en-suite bedrooms.
All our rooms are tastefully decorated and have Hypnos beds ensuring a relaxing nights sleep.
The rooms vary in size from the standard double right through to our family room with its super size bed and sofa bed and our rates reflect this.
Our rates are for Bed and Breakfast and children and dogs are always welcome.
