p The Old Station House is situated in what was the station yard at Bridge of Dee. Situated in the Scottish countryside 11 minutes from Castle Douglas offering rooms with free Wi-Fi and free parking. Although the station closed in 1947 and the last trains passed through in the early 1960s there are still a number of original features of the old station. Ideally located for golf fishing mountain biking or just soaking up the atmosphere of this lovely unspoilt corner of Scotland. /p p Castle Douglas Golf Club is 7 minutes drive from the property. Shops amenities and restaurants are found in Castle Douglas 5 minutes drive away. MacLellan s Castle and the estuary of River Dee are 7 miles from the property. /p p The accommodation in the house consists of two beautifully appointed double rooms with all the extras you would expect both have king sized beds flat-screen TV WiFi access tea / coffee facilities and hairdryer. Guests have the exclusive use of our large conservatory which enjoys stunning views over the local countryside. In the garden there is a tastefully converted 1957 railway carriage which is available on a B&B or self catering basis. The carriage is suitable for up to 6 guests has two luxury bedrooms and a bunk room. /p
