The property is located just off the high street in the busy Shropshire market town of Oswestry. There are excellent transport links from the property and it is the perfect base for holidaymakers to explore from and workers to commute from. Llangollen Welshpool Shrewsbury Wrexham & Chester are all less than half an hour drive from the Smithfield. The Smithfield boasts 14 en-suite letting bedrooms which are a mixture of double / twin single & family rooms. The Smithfield is fortunate enough to have a private gated car park located to the rear of the property this provides a secure overnight parking facility to guests and guaranteed parking available for the duration of a stay.



There is ample space in the bar area to meet up with friends or family and enjoy a bite to eat from the traditional pub menu. The bar is a relaxed space serving drinks all day and food from 12:00 to 15:00 and 18:00 to 21:00. There is a full wine list as well as regularly changing guest ales premium lagers and a large range of spirits including a well-stocked gin bar. Sky & BT Sports are shown in the bar area.



The Smithfield serves traditional pub food with a range of specials also available. There is a separate restaurant area at the property should a more formal setting be sought. If the food is not the style wanted by guests or if looking to eat whilst the kitchen is closed the property is fortunate enough to be located next door to a 17th century Tudor gastro pub which serves food from 12:00 to 21:00 every day. Where possible locally sourced produce is used and this applies both to the food and drinks available at the property.
