This unique building one of the oldest in town has been a pub for nearly two centuries. But today it s much more than a popular local hostelry. With a small dining room serving excellent food and three en-suite letting rooms the Coachmakers is popular with both locals and visitors alike. It is located close to the centre of town just 300 metres from the River Thames Pathway.
Rates start at just ?80 (including VAT) on a room-only basis. We do not provide breakfast but there are a number of options locally all within walking distance.
Dogs with well behaved owners are welcome here at the CAT although we do charge an extra ?10 to cover the cost of cleaning.
Room 1 is an executive sized double with an large bathroom. Please note that it is located on the top floor away from the hustle and bustle of the pub below but it does have two flights of stairs so may be unsuitable for small children and the elderly.
Room 2 can be arranged as a double twin or a triple and is perfect for families or groups. Please specify at time of booking your preferred configuration.
Room 3 can be arranged as a double or a twin. Again please specify your preference at time of booking.
