Built in 1810 its name deriving from the location of the village stocks and was previously known as Stocks House. It is a warm & friendly pub with two fires for those cold days, a beer garden with an outside TV for those very rare warm sunny days and two large car parks.
Walkers & dogs are very welcome We have a great selection of cask ales and we are proud to be one of the only two pubs in Parbold in the good beer guide 2012 & 2013. We also serve a wide selection of wines and cocktails and offer traditional home cooked food and a fantastic tapas menu using the freshest local produce at great prices giving you the best dining experience.
To try and cater for everyone we have a separate newly refurbished tap room boasting two Sky TV’s enabling us to host two games at once, games consoles to keep the kids entertained, quiz machine and a dart board meaning you can either come in for a quiet drink & meal or enjoy watching sport in the hustle of the tap room away from the diners. Nothing is too much trouble for our friendly staff who will give you a warm welcome every time you visit whether it is just for a drink or for a fantastic meal. We look forward to welcoming you.
