Welcome to The Stag quality dining and accommodation located in the heart of the Island. Check-in commences at 3.00 pm daily last check in 9.00 pm. Check out 10.30 am.
With attentive service and a relaxing atmosphere we pride ourselves on fine dining in a pub environment. We have an extensive wine selection and superb real ales you can enjoy a chilled glass of wine in the bar area or in the garden area.
With four en-suite rooms available including one twin two doubles and one single room providing modern and stylish accommodation with a homely feel.
Each of our rooms have flat screen televisions with FreeView and a DVD player alarm clocks with I-Pod docks a hair dryer and a complementary tea and coffee tray.
Newport is situated in the centre of the Island and is the county town of the Isle of Wight. This bustling town was built around the River Medina and is a popular shopping destination for both locals and tourists. As well as a array of shops which include both major chain stores and unique Island retail outlets Newport boasts a wonderful mix of pubs bars caf?s and restaurants as well as a cinema multiplex theatres galleries and museums. A weekly farmers market is held every Friday at St Thomas Square in the centre of Newport where you will find fantastic fresh local produce on sale.
Newport is also home to two great music festivals the first in June at Seaclose Park for the Isle of Wight Festival and the second in June at Robin Hill Country Park in September.
The Island beaches are amongst the best in the world boasting 14 award winners.
