A warm welcome good food and fine ales awaits you at The Boringdon Arms. The Boringdon is an 18th century traditional pub in the historic village of Turnchapel We are situated in a quiet raised terrace only yards from the waterfront and Plymouth Yacht Haven Marina. You will be conveniently located for The Mountbatten watersports and activities centre and the diving school. The Mountbatten is also a pickup point for fishing trips and from here you can ride across Plymouth Sound in the water taxi to The Barbican and Plymouth City Centre. There are some beautiful walks on the headland around jennycliff beach. If you have dogs they are allowed on the beach all year round.
Our rooms though nothing fancy are pleasant clean and comfortable. Your stay offers excellent value and you will be well looked after.. Many of the rooms have a waterfront view. You can enjoy a freshly cooked hearty breakfast to set you up for the day (included in the price of your room). All rooms have televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. Good pub food is available at lunch and dinner times.
This is an ideal base to enjoy both quiet coastal countryside and bustling city centre beach historic sightseeing and an array of watersports diving and fishing if you wish all within the same trip.
