I wanted an update to the maps on the Satnav which was working fine. It usually costs about £80 from a Volvo dealer but he assured me that he could do the job more cheaply.
The result was a disaster as they corrupted the software on the internal control unit ( icu )
and the satnav , radio, audio system and Bluetooth no longer worked.
As a result I had to have a new ICU unit installed by the Volvo dealer in Exeter at a cost of £1000. Although he booked the car into the dealer at Exeter he refused to contribute to the cost of the damage that he had caused.
