Description

The Chimes is a detached family home set in beautiful gardens in a woodland setting at the edge of the village of Wansford.

We are conveniently located for road rail and air links with Stamford 7 miles to the North Peterborough 6 miles to the East and Stansted East Midlands and Birmingham airports all within 90 minutes drive.

You will find a warm welcome spacious rooms high quality beds with crisp white linen fluffy towels and luxury toiletries. Guests can relax in a private sitting room with gas fire and large screen TV and there is a separate dining room in which to enjoy breakfast.

We have three guest bedrooms all with a king size bed. The Garden Room has a private bathroom next door the Woodland and River Rooms both have an en-suite bathroom.

All of our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and a flat screen TV. The Woodland Room also has a large built in desk and makes a perfect space for work if you are travelling on business.

Guests will be welcomed on arrival with a cup of tea or coffee and homemade cakes or scones with home made jams which they are welcome to enjoy in the garden if the weather allows.

We offer an outstanding Aga cooked breakfast using homemade locally sourced and free-trade ingredients whenever possible. Our sausages bacon and eggs come from Willow Brook Farm which is just 4 miles away.

There is ample free parking and free wireless internet available. We can provide secure parking in a locked garage for a small additional charge if required.
