The Kings Arms lies in the peaceful and quaint village of Wing. The Inn is ideally situated as a base for visiting the surrounding market towns of Oakham Uppingham and Stamford. Rutland water with its extensive array of outdoor activities is only two miles away and offers a variety of outdoor pursuits including walking cycling sailing windsurfing bird watching fishing and golf. Other local attractions include Burghley House Barnsdale Gardens Rockingham Speedway and the historic Wing Maze.
The Inn dates back to 1649 and offers all the charm and character of a Traditional Country Inn. Our en-suite rooms are clean spacious and fully equipped. Since 2004 the Goss family have been offering quality ales an extensive wine list fine food and a high standard of service at all times. Rutland is a hidden gem of a county and is often referred to as The Little Cotswolds with its quaint villages similar brickwork and Collyweston Stone Slate.
We offer a large off-road free car park suitable for the parking of small boat trailers horseboxes and motorised caravans. Our restaurant may be booked for corporate lunches dinner parties and small wedding receptions.
