The Black Horse Hotel is a small family run Inn dating back as far back as 1620, located on the High Street of Thame, an old fashioned traditional market town in Oxfordshire, near the Chiltern hills. With our farmers market once a month selling fresh local produce and an array of local shops, restaurants and pubs it's a great place to visit offering something for everyone.
The Black Horse is famous for our wide selection of lagers, ales, fine fayre and illustrious past. We are proud to return to what British pubs do best; a warm welcome, a good honest pint with quality home-cooked food all locally source, with exceptional real ales, and wines to suit any pallate.
We are unique in our approach to food offering simple homecooked pub grub buying locally when possible, using sustainable fish from our shores. We dont exclude those with dietry needs specialising in Gluten free dishes for coeliacs offering a full menu including mouth watering desserts.
The pub has a traditional bar, games room, conservatory and courtyard. Within the games room there are two pool tables and a darts throw. At the rear of the pub there is a customer car park available for use.
