Description
North Farm House is a Grade II listed building which is undergoing extensive restoration and sympathetic modernisation. The house was moved brick by brick to the village of Budby from its original location in 1797 by the then Earl of Manvers, and has changed greatly since that time. The house is situated on the Thoresby Estate, still home to this day to the descendants of the last Earl and Countess of Manvers.
We will be open for bookings from 1st March 2012. However, please note that all cosmetic works may not have been fully completed by then. Our price per night will reflect this. Regardless of any uncompleted works, we will always aim to offer you a warm welcome and extremely comfortable stay.
Our rooms each come with their own fully equipped bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, TV and WiFi.
All produce is sourced locally, and special diets can be catered for with prior notice.
We are based within "The Dukeries", with easy access to both the A1 and M1, as well as Sheffield, the cathedral city of Lincoln, Chesterfield, Chatsworth House and Newark (famous for its antique fair). Also within the area are many places of interest to visit and we are always happy to advise on individual attractions.
