The Old Vicarage powys guesthouse mid Wales is a late Victorian property which has been tastefully converted to a cosy Guest House. Little has been altered inside or outdoors windows wooden shutters and oak stair-case are all original as are the fireplaces upstairs.



The house is set in a an acre of gently sloping informal gardens. There are many attractions and activities in around the Old Vicarage Country Guest House Mid Wales. Llangurig at 1000ft above sea level is reputed to be the highest village in Wales. It is the first village on the River Wye which rises with the Severn in the Plynlimon hills some six miles away. There is a popular walk to the source of both rivers and the view from the top of Plynlimon (2465ft) is outstanding. All bedrooms are well furnished and have little extras for your comfort.



There is a lounge with many interesting books/maps for guests to borrow with many on the Mid Wales countryside and area. The dining room has separate tables and is fully licensed. We offer a varied menu and serve an excellent breakfast. Packed lunches are available to order. Tea and homemade cakes are available all day either in the lounges or in the garden on the Vicarage lawn. Please Note: We are a No-Smoking property. We do not accept stag or hen groups. Pets by arrangement. Children welcome. Check-In time: 14:00 and Check-Out time: 10:00. Payment by cash or cheque only.
