Description

The ship Inn is located in the village of Wylam which is close to Hadrian s wall and George Stephenson s cottage. We are situated 8 miles from the city center of Newcastle Upon Tyne and 5 miles from the Metrocenter which is one of Europe s biggest shopping centers. Newcastle Airport is 5 miles drive and we also have Close House Hotel and Golf Course just half a mile away.

The Ship Inn is in a great location for exploring Northumberland s National park with its many walks and rivers. Wylam railway station is 5 minutes walk away and there is also a local bus service to Newcastle and Hexham. All our rooms have private bathrooms and free WiFi free-view TV with tea and coffee facilities and are situated above the public house on the first floor which also has its own private entrance.

There is Free parking available at the rear of the building . We also serve a full range of beer s wines and spirits along with a home cooked food lunch and dinner which is available downstairs in the main bar area. Our beautiful beer garden is also the ideal space to sit and relax with a drink or a cocktail.
