The Kings Head is a beautiful Grade II listed building set in the heart of the picture postcard village of Allendale Northumberland. Situated on the market square we are ideally located to make the most of the village and its amenities.

The pub itself has five guest rooms one twin two double and two king size all of which have either a private bathroom or en-suite shower room. Each room is centrally heated to make your stay cosy in the colder periods and comes equipped with a TV tea & coffee making facilities and your towels. We can also provide ironing facilities for you to use if you require.

Our staff are smartly dressed and always wear a smile on their face. We assure you of a warm friendly welcome to make you feel relaxed and comfortable in our traditional surroundings.

Once you re settled into your room you may fancy a drink and a chat in our homely bar area. Why not try one of our quality cask ales or a warming spirit from our collection. We also stock a range of keg beers and lagers as well as soft drinks for those who want something non-alcoholic.

Our small kitchen prepares fresh pub grub which is served in our comfortable dining area.
