Pinewood House is a family run Bed & Breakfast in a central spot on Yell, Shetland. We have been open since April 2011, and are already getting really busy with positive feedback and return bookings for next year.Our main compliment from guests is about the hospitality and the food, as I have years of experience as a chef working in top hotels and establishments throughout the UK. We use locally sourced food and supplies, including fresh fish which is delivered to our door by local fishermen. The other compliments are about the guest lounge which is available for your sole use and the open roaring fire, the outlook to the sea and the rural landscapes. The sea is about ten minutes walk from the house, and is an ideal way to walk off the three course evening meal. We have fully refurbished the house and like to support local photography and crafts which we display on our walls and in the guest rooms. Your room will be a double or twin room with rural or sea views, with a modern en suite, free view TV, tea and coffee making facilities and free wi-fi available. Pinewood House is a fantastic base for cycling, walking and nature spotting and also visiting the local attractions such as the "White Wife" and the Old Haa Museum, There are many local activities to join in with on Yell such as the music festivals and events, and there is a leisure centre, pub and play parks in Mid Yell. We can put your bikes away on our garage and have them out ready for your next day of exploring the beautiful island of Yell.
