Welcome to Squirrels Children's Day Nursery. We aim to offer children and babies stimulating, creative and fun opportunities where they can make new friends in a comfortable and safe environment.

Squirrels Children's Day Nursery is a privately run organisation. The building is a 'Former Baptist Church' that has been carefully converted to form an early years setting; the establishment still has its original church features. The nursery operates from a two storey building which splits into three levels.

We are open for 51 weeks of the year; we close on bank holidays and for one week over the Christmas period.
The nursery is in a residential area and is close to local schools. It is easily accessible; we have accessible toilet facilities, ramp and stair lift.

The nursery has an outdoor area, with equipment and play facilities.

The nursery is regularly inspected by Rochdale Borough's Environmental Health Officer's using the scheme 'Scores on the Doors' which is a national food hygiene rating. The setting received a 5 star rating; which is the highest grade possible.
The setting also works very closely with the local authorities 'Rochdale's Early Years Team'. The setting is currently enrolled in a quality assurance scheme for nurseries in the area called 'High 5'. We are often inspected by the early years team and we have been awarded 5.

Other Information

We open from 7.30am to 6.00pm Monday - Friday. We cater for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. We open for 51 weeks per year, we close on bank holidays and for one week at Christmas.
