This business is now under new ownership, effective from the 17th April 2014. We are now a family run, family and dog friendly traditional English country pub, our kitchen is now up and running serving home-made traditional pub food and roasts every Sunday; if the weather is good we are hosting regular barbecue's on Saturday's and have a variety of events planned for over the summer.
The building itself is grade 2 listed with parts originating from the 1600's; it has unique curved entrance doors and a minstrel's gallery. It is located in a two acre plot of land with extensive gardens including children's play equipment and a 20ft by 40 ft marquee making it usable whatever the weather.
The business also includes a coffee shop situated in an old converted stable block; this is open Monday-Friday 9.00 - 17.00, Saturday 10.00 - 15.00 and offers a selection of hot drinks, panini's, cakes and other nibbles.
