The George is a 15th centure coaching inn which was lovingly restored and renovated in 2013 adding to the George s successful fine dining restaurant and bar. Conveniently located to the A1M and ideally situated for Luton Airport with direct train lines to London & Cambridge we are also the perfect choice for business stays. This low-key boutique hotel is a 6-minute walk from Baldock railway station less than 3 miles from Letchworth Golf Club and about 4 miles from the ancient Icknield Way Path. /p p We have 16 bedrooms each individually styled packed full of original Georgian features and modern amenities. Each one of our bedrooms is different with its own unique character and d?cor making us the only boutique hotel in Baldock. Many of the rooms offer wonderful views over the quaint market town and historic church of St Marys. There are different styles of accommodation ranging from our king premier rooms to king superior suites equipped with freeview flat screen TVs with radio channels Bath and Body products large fluffy towels complimentary WiFi tea/ coffee making facilities bottled water and daily housekeeping is included in the room rate. /p p We are able to offer dinner bed and breakfast packages for those special occasions or simply for a weekend escape. Our restaurant is open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner and for Sunday Lunch. For the business services need we have the facility to photocopy scan email or fax business based documents for you. /p
