This company has contempt for its customers. It’s poorly managed which will become a huge problem for customers who have issues with carpets. Thankfully my daughter and I did not go ahead with purchase to find out how poor this company’s customer service really is.

My recent and past experience of this company is negative. 4 years ago I called into the store to order hall stairs and landing carpet. The fitter was booked and never showed up. When I phoned the store they said the fitter called and no one answered . This was an absolute lie. I had been waiting on him. They booked another fitter to come out and he didn’t show up. I ended up going elsewhere.

Against my advise my daughter decided to give this company a chance. A fitter was booked and guess what the company hadn’t changed the fitter didn’t arrive and when I phoned the store they said the fitter called and no one answered. I told them that was a lie as my daughter was there sitting waiting . They gave me Brenda the managers/ owners number. I called her, she said they are always having issues with fitters and she’d go to the warehouse and she what happened and call me back.

Brenda called back and said she spoke with the warehouse manager who I could hear in the background. Brenda said she wasn’t sure what happened but fitters are self employed and they are a law unto themselves. They have trouble with fitters all the time.

The warehouse manager said that they will book another fitter to call out first job the next fray. I asked what time is first job as my daughter has not moved into her new apartment yet and need to be there . Brenda said the warehouse opens at 8:30 and the fitters come in load up for the day and then contact customers with an ETA. The warehouse manager said first job is 9am.

The next morning I went with my daughter, at 9:16 the fitter still had not showed up and no call to say the ETA. I called back to Brenda and got a lady who said she was only there to sort out accounts. However, she would go to the ware house and ask the warehouse manager to call me.

At 9:47 a knock came to the door and it was the fitter Rob. I asked Rob why he was late, he said this was first Job. I told him the warehouse manager said the fitter would be here at 9. Rob said that would be impossible to do as the warehouse doesn’t open til 8:45 and there is often 7 other fitters there waiting to load and get details of the jobs. He also said some mornings the warehouse doesn’t open til 8:50.

This business owner Brenda doesn’t know what time her own warehouse opens. And the warehouse manager doesn’t know the time that it takes to sort out fitters.

I’m still waiting on the warehouse manager to call me back. This company is not a trustworthy company. There customer service is unacceptable.

Thankfully my daughter has gone elsewhere for her carpets and Lino, as she has realised if the company are this comfortable with their staff laying and not having the professionalism to call customers back then should there be an issue with a carpet you’ve no hope of this company being there to sort it out.

It seems this company is disorganised and poorly managed. This will effect any issues a customer may have. Thankfully my daughter experienced this before she gave them any money.

Reading the majority of the reviews on here we are not alone in our experience of this company. This company may believe they can treat customers with contempt and get away with it as they are busy now. However, a poor reputation and service will catch up to them and I look forward to this company realising it.
