Description

The Royal George is a typical Old English Country Pub with parts dating back to the 13th and 17th century in a beautiful village overlooking the Welland Valley in Northamptonshire on the borders of Rutland and Leicestershire. It is close to Rockingham Castle and Rockingham Raceway Corby International Pool Corby Kettering and Market Harborough.

The views from the large decking area proves how beautiful the surrounding countryside is.

Upstairs there are 3 modern double bedrooms and one twin all with ensuite and full tea/coffee making facilities. Hairdryers and iron/ironing board s are available on request along with ample Free parking and free WiFi. A traditional full english breakfast will set you up for the day ahead. There are folding beds available for younger children to share with there parents there will be an additional charge for this service.

Under new ownership and newly refurbished with a quality menu using local produce which can be enjoyed along with your choice of cask marque accredited beers in the bar area. Our beers have been independantly approved for their taste temperature aroma and appearance. Local brewers provide excellent ales from Finest Casks. A wide selection of spirits lagers ciders and wines from around the world are here to satisfy all manners of taste buds!

Although in the countryside the Inn is only minutes away from all major roads - the A1 M1 and A14 only a short distance and rail connections from Corby to London taking just an hour.
