The first thing you will notice when you arrive at Rigg House are the incredible and inspiring views. The exterior of the building hasn t changed much in over 250 years settled in the Kirkconnel hills you get a sense of timelessness from this building. This grand old Farmhouse is traditional inside but with modern comforts - rest by the log burning stove in the lounge and relax with a book or film before sleeping on fine Egyptian cotton sheets.



Breakfast is served between 7:00am for early risers up until 10:00 for those who enjoy a lie in. Take your choice of a full Scottish breakfast (with or without haggis!) vegetarian breakfast or our wide range of cereals and toast all breakfasts come with fresh orange juice and tea or coffee. For an additional cost we also offer homemade evening meals and packed lunches for you to take away on your adventures - please pre-order with a minimum of 4 hours notice if you wish to order food.



All our rooms boast private bathrooms flat screen television tea and coffee making facilities and homemade flapjack. We pride ourselves on our service and our mission is to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
