Ty Waldo a 3 bedroom en-suite character guesthouse is located in a former coaching inn sited on Narberth s historical market square. Narberth has a long history and is first mentioned in the Mabinogion s ancient text. Fitting indeed then that the business is named after one of Pembrokeshire s more recent literary legends. Waldo Williams who is little known outside the Welsh speaking community was a local folk hero campaigner and poet. The rooms are themed on some Waldo s poems.
The building has undergone a full refurbishment over the last few years the outcome being to deliver an authentic feel with plenty of local character and charm. The main room dining area benefits from under-floor heating and the food is provided by the Caffi Blasus team who of course welcome guests staying in the rooms above.
The rooms themselves have been given a modern twist big on comfort while still remaining true to the traditional feel. The generously sized en-suite bathrooms have walk-in wet-room style showers in the 2 larger rooms with plenty of hot water for a great relaxing showering experience. Modern wi-fi enabled TV s give the guests the opportunity to stay connected.
