Pub Description
Standings Cross is a beautiful Gastro-pub located in the pretty village of Matfield in the heart of the Kent countryside, offering excellent pub food. We offer an great selection of beers and wines including cask-conditioned real ales.
The Standings Cross has been under new ownership since July 2010 and we have been working hard to forge relationships with local suppliers to enable our chefs to offer freshly cooked food using seasonal and wherever possible, locally sourced produce.
We have an a la carte menu with daily specials on the boards in the restaurant. We change our menu frequently (sometimes daily!) due to the availabilty and seasonality of ingredients.
On Sunday we offer a traditional roast along with a selection from our normal menu, and we host a live jazz session on the last Sunday of every month.
