Lords of the Manor a 17th century former rectory set in eight acres of gardens and parkland presents guests with the true country house experience. Privately owned for 17 years the intimate retreat has a selection of individually furnished rooms enjoying views over the pretty gardens the village of Upper Slaughter and the surrounding hills. We re proud of our reputation for first class customer service and work hard to ensure our guests can just relax and enjoy our unique blend of hospitality comfort and style. Many visitors find it hard to leave these home comforts but can rest in the knowledge that when they do explore our location is perfect. Gentle walking (wellies are by the door) or a little light shopping in picture-perfect Cotswold villages are the order of the day plus all of the events National Trust gardens and historic houses that make the Cotswolds such a special place to explore. What s more you don t have to leave your four legged friend at home as we are happy to welcome dogs to the hotel for a small supplement of ?30 per dog per night. /p All rooms are appointed with flat screen TVs DVD players and complimentary Wi-Fi access. Decanters of organic cordial and L Occitane toiletries are a feature of all our rooms. Some of our guests consider us a hotel with a terrific restaurant others see us as one of the finest restaurants with rooms! We re happy either way but there is no doubt that our restaurant under our wonderful Head Chef Charles Smith and his team forms the heart and soul of the hotel. From a full afternoon tea in the gardens to the seven course tasting menu the food is something special. /p Events can be held in any of our meeting rooms which feature specialist Wi-Fi access points designed to cope with multiple simultaneous connections. Lords of the Manor is also the most beautiful location in which to host a wedding and we welcome parties special functions and birthday celebrations. /p Although we are located in the heart of a peaceful Cotswold village finding us is easy. Situated close to the A429 we are only 16 miles from Cheltenham Spa train station or 19 miles from Gloucestershire Airport. /p Check in from 3pm and enjoy a relaxed check out by 11am.
