Ty Cefn Tregib (which is Welsh for The house behind Tregib ) is a converted barn coach house and stables formerly the outbuildings for Tregib Mansion sadly demolished in the 1970 s. It stands in a sheltered secluded garden surrounded by woodland and fields with open views across former parkland and the Towy Valley to Llandeilo.
Located in the westernmost corner of the Brecon Beacons National Park we are easily accessible just 15 minutes from the end of the M4 making us a convenient central base for exploring the beautiful mountains valleys coastline castles gardens and many other attractions that West Wales has to offer.
The local village of Ffairfach is just 10 minutes walk and has a pub which serves great food grocery shop an award winning butcher and bus and rail links. The vibrant little market town Llandeilo just one mile away has restaurants cafes pubs banks and a wide variety of interesting small shops and galleries The National Trust s Dinefwr park and Castle are in Llandeilo.
A few minutes drive will get you to The National Botanic Garden of Wales Aberglasney Gardens the spectacularly situated Carreg Cennen Castle or The Roman Goldmines at Pumpsaint.
