The pub has an excellant restaurant serving lunch and dinner guests can sit out and admire the wonderful panoramic coastal views on the grass by the sandy beach just outside. There are outstanding walks leading north to Craster/Bamburgh and south to Alnmouth the property has just been completed to very high standards with contemporary and coordinated furnishings.

Boulmer was the Gin smuggling capital of England around 200 years ago. In fact The Fishing Boat Inn was originally a smuggler s haunt which is another way of saying hideout .
Pirates used to use the pub as a place to meet up and plan their next jobs who they were going to steal from next and any number of unethical things that pirates did in those days.
