Leila and Shaun Hamilton-Hunter offer you a warm Welsh welcome. Leila is a born and bred Welsh speaking local girl and Shaun has been in the Conwy Valley for over 30 years. Together they have created a warm and welcoming getaway destination in their beloved North Wales.

Each of our rooms has its own balcony area for you to enjoy and you are welcome to stroll around our large private gardens. Or you can just sit back and relax in our lounge bar with a local brew or head to the village and visit one of our local pubs and restaurants.

Yr Hafod is situated in Trefriw in the Conwy Valley in North Wales within a stones throw of Betws-y-Coed and Llanrwst. If this is your first visit then Congratulations you have just discovered a little known gem in the Snowdonia National Park. If you have visited before Welcome Back!

Trefriw is an ideal accommodation base to visit many of North Wales coastal areas tourist attractions and all that the Snowdonia National Park has to offer. Snowdon is only a 30 minute drive away and the hugely popular Zipworld and Bounce Below are just under 30 minutes drive from here. The areas latest attraction Surf Snowdonia is only 2 miles away and Betws-y-coed Conwy and Llanrwst are all nearby with Crafnant Lake Geirionydd Lake Gwydyr Forest and the Marin Trail all within walking distance of the hotel.
