Our Bedrooms

We have two individually decorated bedrooms one double with King size bed and private bathroom and one twin room with ensuite. The twin has extra length beds (6ft 3 ) and can be made into a Super King bed (minimum 2 nights stay). Both rooms have large walk in showers providing you a comfortable and relaxing stay.

All rooms have a flat screen TV with free view and free Wi-Fi access. There are tea and coffee making facilities bathrobes toiletries towels and hair dryer and an oscillating fan in the summer.

Guest Dinning Room

Breakfast is served in our guest dining room where you can enjoy a light breakfast fruit juices yoghurts cereals and fruit or one of Paul s hearty breakfasts from locally sourced produce including free range eggs tomatoes and mushrooms.

We cater for vegetarian options please speak to us about this or any other special dietary requirements.

Garden Room

Guests also have use of the garden room where you can listen to music or perhaps catch up on some reading we have a well stocked book case to choose from.

Thaxted is situated in beautiful Essex countryside and has a wealth of history dating back to the Domesday Book. With numerous shops including an antique shop gift shop two pub eating houses a wine bar restaurants and a butchers and bakers within the town. There is also a regular Friday market selling a variety of tantalising goods. We are also in travelling distance of some Essex s prettiest villages including Finchingfield Great Barfield and the market town of Saffron Walden. A variety of not to be missed attractions include the beautiful Audley End House and Gardens Duxford War Museum Hatfield Forest and a great sightseeing and shopping trip to Cambridge should be added to your must visit places.

We are well situated whether its business visiting friends or a holiday break. We also have good parking facilities.
