Why not stroll down Morecambe s famous promenade take a walk across the sands (guided tours only please) A short walk either east or west will bring you to Heysham Village and Hest Bank. These are sites of natural beauty for the ones that love to wander or the twitchers amongst us. On an evening where the calm meets the sea can be found the pink hue as the sun sets on Morecambe Bay s horizon.

On the way to Hest Bank why not stop off with the children to let them burn off some energy at Happy Mount Park Here they will find enjoyment for hours on the adventure playground with it s zip wire climbing structures water fountains and many more. At the same time as you let them play why not listen to the brass band or the school choir performing on and around the bandstand. Have a bite to eat in the well stocked cafe and let the children play pitch & put within view next door.

The promenade is a must for all. It is all pedestrianised and so being safe to give the children a little freedom. On the other side of the promenade are the shops bars and cafes. Why not rest a while and take in the magnificent views over the bay to the lake district or simply people watch as we all sometimes do.
