Proprietors Barry & Veronique have been successfully operating the Argyll for over 10 years. A quiet establishment (no bar) The Argyll on Hornby road is in a Central Blackpool Location.
A short ride in the new trams along the redeveloped coastline (get a daily or weekly pass) takes you to Pleasure Beach and the Sandcastle. Continue on Hornby road to reach Blackpool zoo Stanley Park and boating lake. Alternatively just a few minutes stroll from The Argyll takes you to The Tower and Dungeon The Winter Gardens Sealife Centre Madame Tussaud Coral Island amusement complex with Casino the main Houndshill shopping area and New Bony street Market. Also within a few minutes walk are various social clubs with nightly entertainment and bingo.
Should you wish to take evening meals (prior arrangement required and normally served at 5pm) you can expect a variety of homemade soup as starter and traditional main courses - a suggested menu is given to you upon arrival. Breakfast consists of juice cereal cooked English and toasts preserves and tea/coffee.
After breakfast some people choose to relax in our small road facing lounge or outside seating to watch this busy and popular holiday area in action.
