The building dates back to the mid 18th century with additions made from the mid 19th century.
Broseley is a small town in Shropshire just south of Ironbridge. The first ironbridge in the world was built in 1779 across the River Severn linking Broseley to Coalbrookedale and Madeley. It was part of the Industrial development in Ironbridge Gorge which is now part of a world heritage site.
The legendary ironmaster John Wilkinson who appeared on the old halfpenny coin and constructed the world s first iron boat lived in the town.
Abraham Darby who developed the process of smelting iron using coking coal is buried here. Local attractions include:
