The Post Office House location is stunning at the head of the Victorian pier in the heart of Kilmun village on the shores of the Holy Loch with views to the hills of Argyll Forest Park and the Clyde estuary beyond. This unusual one-bedroom self-catering cottage is a recent conversion from a grade 2 listed 1830 pier building on the north shore of the Holy Loch. Situated within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park excellent local walks cycling exploring Argyll days out in Glasgow Oban. Sleeps 2 can accommodate a 3rd person on a sofa-bed in the lounge. Superb comfortable open-plan interior lots of oak slate stained glass original artworks great views of the mountains and loch. Centrally heated by a high-tech heat pump with the option of a wood-burning stove to make it even cosier. Guests can expect to find a TV with a DVD player and a well-equipped kitchen with washing machine. Linen and towels provided. We provide a portable WiFi device that will connect your tablet or laptop to the internet - great for emails and web browsing. Dunoon is a popular seaside resort 6 miles away and offers good shopping facilities a cinema golf course and a large indoor swimming pool. There is a yachting marina at Sandbank village just outside Dunoon . Throughout the area there are plenty of good restaurants pubs and hotels offering the best of local fare. Pets welcome good dog walking paths nearby.
