The Country House is situated within the Northumberland National Park. Under brand new management since June 2012 and extensively refurbished the large 13th Century attractive stone built hall creates an extremely comfortable well appointed country house retaining many original architectural features. There is no mobile phone signal in the area but free wi-fi is available at the hotel and there is a payphone. Some weekends there is musical entertainment in the bar.
