Frazzles of course! Anything but Ready Salted Walkers
Best sitcom ever?
Hmmm, 'Only Fools And Horses' or 'Blackadder'

Play along with The World Cup Of Everything and you and your family and friends can decide these things once and for all. You will be arguing about, then voting on, the best crisps, the best chocolate, the best sweets, the best sitcom, the best Christmas songs, the best Disney films, the best biscuits and so much more.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 July 2020A great book that is a lot of fun for a good while! On average, it takes us about 30 minutes to do each "World Cup" and I use them with our youth group as a different icebreaker as we love to argue about our favourite type of biscuit/crisp/Disney film. It was particularly good for the price as there are so many examples and it can be adapted for so many more. Would definitely recommend
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 September 2018This book has provided our family with so many nights of fun. We have spent hours enjoying the contents of this book and debating thoroughly why a custard cream is the superior biscuit despite an orange club coming out on top. So well written and thought out. My children aged 10 and 11 have found this book fantastic and me and my husband are on the lookout for something similar for more family fun. You need this book in your life!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 September 2020Great for end of dinner discussions after family meals - could be good just to let your kids use on their own although paper quality is poor and I’d argue it’s a bit steep for what it is.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 January 2024Good read
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 December 2017Great fun for the family. We spent less time on the phone and more time to talk to each other over topics we would never think of in a normal conversation like chocolate bars, bands, animals. I never know that there are so many chocolate bars I've not had before. A lot of interesting facts and comments as well. A lovely present for my fiancé's dad and fun for the entire family.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 October 2020Years ago, to keep my students entertained on a lunch period we decided to create the ‘League of Biscuits’. We measured he varies qualities of each biscuit – texture, dunkability, taste and we decided that the best biscuit is the ginger nut – not the favourite biscuit but it is the best.
Richard Osman’s book The World Cup of Everything is built on this premise – in this book you get a game and a really good book to read. It is a book that will keep you entertained for hours on end.
The World Cup of Everything by Richard Osman is available now.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 December 2017The TV personality Richard Osman seems to be popping up everywhere with his wacky off-beat humour – well received by all – and now he presents a puzzle and quiz book – great value with nearly 400 pages in hardback.
There are 14 different ‘World Cup’ competitions for friends and families to play and ponder results – over diverse subjects as – Chocolate, Animals, Crisps, Restaurants, British Bands, Sweets, Americans, British Sitcoms, Disney, Drinks, Christmas Films, Biscuits, Game Shows and Christmas Songs, and there is also a World Cup of Everything which pits together the winners from all above subjects – and there is a section giving Answers.
Richard Osman’s book is the best value fun you are likely to get this Christmas – it truly deserves a 5-star rating – but don’t let it get too competitive!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 January 2019Gets the whole family talking - great for post xmas fatigue. We debated the merits of "everything" over a week.
