How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings, help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Great companion for the avid traveller
I had read my father’s millennium addition of this and it was great. That was a A4 book size and personally a much better layout and easier read. However this is perhaps more practical as a pocket companion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Weather to Travel helps you decide whether to travel!
Excellent little book.
Gives lots of easy to understand stats for each location around the world. You can either browse the visual guides or read the summaries. Very clear and colourful.
Covers most places in the world. Thorough yet concise.
Helps you tell before booking a holiday if your potential destination is going to be sunny, warm and dry - or not! Invaluable when I know I have, say, two weeks in June. I simply look up the places I'm thinking of going and hey presto this book tells me if I need to dress for a wet monsoon, a wilting heatwave or a mild spring day.
Weather to Travel also specifies what the nights are like. With this little book, you'll never go unprepared again, packing will be a doddle and you'll have chosen the right destination anyway! No nasty surprises!
But it's also just plain fun to read, if you are interested in travel, geography or simply curious.
I have had this as a reference book on my shelf for years, and when my aunt commented how helpful it was, I bought her a copy.
