I think if you were to read this book with the cover removed you would never have guessed it was a low carb cookbook. The book starts with some general advice, it has a section promoting a low carb diet but then the next section is promoting a low fat diet. Atkins and South Beach claim that if you're cutting out carbs then you don't need to cut down on fat for the diet to work.
It feels like whoever wrote this book didn't really believe in their heart that low carb is the way to go. It's more like they took a generic cook book, deleted any recipe that had more than 50g of carbs, added a couple of pages about carbs and then sent it for publishing.

Very disappointed.This is more of a picture book that a Cookery Book, the receipts are too fancy for every day use, and most would not be considered Low Carb. It also has a very strong smell, which presumably is from the ink, and having an extreme sensitivity to odors and found it overpowering. Wish I hadn't bought it, a waste of good money.
