A quick review based on the single player missions. This is generally a really good game with a few minor niggles and now well worth the bargain price of less than £5.

    - Very good graphics most of the time, although they can look a little dated in places.
    - I played this on a Core 2 Duo 3.3Ghz, Geforce GTX460, 4Gb Ram, Vista 64bit and play was smooth.
    - A good story-line surrounding the war in Afghanistan but perhaps a little short.
    - Realistic gameplay and battles.
    - AI can act a little odd sometimes. A few times your buddy stops and doesn't move on to the next section of the game meaning you can't continue and have to re-load the level or last checkpoint.
    - No annoying online activation required. Having the disk in the drive is enough copy protection.

i bought this game for £5 (delivered) based on price this is a 5 star game. ok not as polished as Crysis/COD but game runs a dream on my FX8150/GTX680 Pc rig - max settings.

Graphics - good for the most part. some parts are a bit to dark/dindgy for my liking.

Sound - very realistic. its got a sickening thud when you get shot. its an incentive to keep your head down in firefights.

SP Campaign - really enjoyable, some excellent sequences. some are a bit drab and gets a bit samey fighting in mountain ranges. cut scenes are skippable. sprint is a bit pointless so dont expect to 'leg it around' during contact.

Multiplayer - haven't tried it. more a campaign person.

if you have played the COD's and Crysis' to death like me a looking to try another game its really good for the money.

The game (single player campaign), albeit not a sales success as the "other franchise" , works very hard to impress and is quite immersive at times. Doesn't feel too small or bolted together, and boldly goes for originality in a very spent genre. And all of this despite the shameful setting this war is.

Unfortunately, the CD-Key that comes with it DOESN'T work with Steam, leaving the owner stuck with using the DVD. This is another moment of bastardized licensing at its best, and my purchasing of EA titles will adjust accordingly.

    I'm a very unsatisfied customer.

I have never played a game which such a paper thin plot. From beginning to end I had no idea what was going on. Repetitive game play added to the shortness of the game makes this a real tough recommendation.

I only rated 2 stars instead of 1 because I paid £5 for it

This game is good fun but that is all its got going for it. The graphics are OK but not on par with COD. The level of detail on the characters is very good but the overall level of detail is at best average. The game play is very slick but even on hard its is not difficult to complete.

The real problem is the games length. It is very very short. It took only one evening to complete.

Even for a tenner it would not be particularly good value. If the price goes down to a fiver it would be a good buy, but I would wait until then.

Enjoyed this game. Zero bugs and runs well on max settings. FPS, where you play as part of a team, that you don't control. Yes, it's pretty linear, but it's good fun (like the buddy ammo system) and the fire fights are quite intense. Liked the setting too. Cheap and cheerful. Better than many.......thumbs up. played in single player, the only bad thing with it: too short.
otherwise very good graphics, good story and characters, detailed weapons and very realistic surroundings.
some more "freedom" in action would have been better, but 5 stars well deserved.
