As a medical student I read tons of medical books. This is one of the worst. You do not get an idea of the fractures and it is all to compromised wriiten

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have for fracture management
Simple and yet effective. A must in the ED department. Puts management into simple terms / diagrams.
I carry this book with me when I'm on shift and refer to it often.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent support
As a practising doctor in remote and rural settings, this book is precisely the help I need for managing orthopaedic conditions at a distance from a tertiary centre. The The layout is practical, the illustrations. pictures and diagrams are clear, easily understood and completely explanatory. As a non-specialist physician in remote ED, it has helped me on many occasions when specialist help has been unobtainable. I have found that the outcomes are satisfactory, and patients arriving at tertiary institutions after my treatment with the support of this book have been deemed to be well treated.
I would recommend this to anyone in a similar position as an essential companion in the ED.
