Description

The White Horse is an impressive 17th Century building that has previously been used as a courthouse located in the middle of the quiet picturesque village of Empingham close to the shore of Rutland Water.

We are very close to the towns of Oakham and Stamford ideal for shopping in smaller independent shops as well as boasting some extremely impressive Christmas lights for that festive evening.

Around and about near us are as many activities as you could wish for from cycling the 26 miles around the reservoir to looking out for the endangered osprey (we now have 8 breeding pairs). We have a great water sports centre within 5 minutes from our door that will do sailing hire and lessons as well as paddle boarding windsurfing and canoeing all on the water itself.
