Our wonderful home cooked Full English breakfast is very satisfying also continental selections including rich greek yoghurt and refreshing fruit salad fruit juice and home made muesli and seasonal preserves.

Ground cafetiere coffee and a selection of teas are served also toast to your liking from a selection of breads.

Located just a couple of miles off the A1 and close to the market town of Retford Nottinghamshire The Barns Country Guesthouse offers traditional B&B accommodation in a peaceful rural setting and is an ideal place to unwind.

We are building a wealth of local information with interests for everyone. The Barns Guesthouse is within an hours drive of many places including the Peak District. We have many local walks and golf courses.

The Chequers at Ranby is less than 2 miles for wonderful atmosphere and meals we also have special rates for our guests.

Julie Haresign is your friendly and helpful host at the attractive 18th century property where original oak beams add to its charm.

Each room is tastefully decorated with En-Suite facilities Digital Television and Hospitality Tray. Egyptian cotton sheet are used throughout. Christy towels are provided.

There is ample off road parking guests are welcome to relax in the front garden area.

There are many interesting and varied restaurants within 10mins.

Check in to the rooms is from 4pm and rooms to be vacated by 10am on day of departure.

Latest check in is 9pm or by prior arrangement.

We are unable to accept pets or children under the age of 12yrs.
