Description

The South Lodge is a traditional detached lodge house situated at the entrance to Dupplin Estate . It offers rural access to the countryside while only 10 minutes drive from Perth. Recently refurbished the property offers a double bedroom with a 4-poster king size bed and en-suite shower room. There is a twin bedroom and family bathroom (with a bath and overhead shower). The living room with traditional shutter windows has a wooden burning stove and there is a separate dining room with ample seating for 6. The kitchen is fully equipped.



The cottage sits in an enclosed garden with a private outdoor hot tub. There is a BBQ and picnic table. Relax and enjoy trout fishing on the river Earn.



This is the ideal base for exploring central Scotland with excellent day trips to Edinburgh St. Andrews Stirling Glasgow and the Highlands.



The lodge is situated on Dupplin Estate with lovely views of the Earn valley. The Estate with its specimen trees has been classified as a site of landscape importance. There is an abundance of wildlife and some very free range sheep! Enjoy relaxing walks on the farm and through the woodlands where following our successful red squirrel project they can be seen scurrying about in the summer.
