Our Mum died New Years Eve 2019. J. J. Burgess care was seamless, they collected Mum, looked after her as though she was their own.
During a very emotional time for us, Kelly supported us, did not shy away from our tears, reminiscing and gently took us through the decisions needed, what we wanted her dressed in, personal items we placed in her coffin such as; handbag, her favourite shopping bag, headscarf and tissues plus more. Kelly did not judge or detract from what we asked if we could put in with her, no matter how much it may not make sense to others. Kelly guided us on service, making sure it was what we wanted, recommending an excellent Celebrant that suited us and Mum as a family. My husband is disabled and they accommodated his wheelchair in the limousine. Her Grandsons were Paul Bearers and the Funeral Directors on the day, talked them through what to do, fully supporting them - so brave. Not only were immediate family cared for, they oversaw on the day, the needs of the mourners, including passing the flower tributes to them to read. This meant so much to the family. It was a beautiful service, which Burgess supported us through, with professional, personable easy. Nothing was too much. We wanted the floral tributes taken back to wake, which they accommodated.
